Life: Quit wasting Time & Accomplish your Goals!

On my last post I talked about giving yourself permission to have free time, but on this post I want to quickly flip the script.
Although I totally believe in Free Time and one day hope to have all the free time I could ever want, I want to point out that if you are not careful you can easily fall into a cycle of wasting time. How do I know this because I have personally fallen into this cycle many times over. I am starting to realize that if you just can recognize this bad cycle when it starts you can begin to make the necessary changes to combat this obstacle.

There truly is nothing like procrastination, and I completely believe it is the number one killer to dreams! Day in and Day out we waste time just by saying "Oh I will get to that later or I will do that in a few minutes." All the while time and opportunities continue to pass us by!

Well I don't know about you but I am tired of it! I am tired of wasting time. Have you ever thought, I wonder how far along I could be if I could just quit wasting time. I know I have thought that. To put it in perspective, if you only waste 1 hour a day that is 30 hours a month. That is one whole day lost a month or about 2 weeks lost a year to procrastination!!! If you are just in your twenties you have already lost a full year of your Life to just wasting 1 hour a day!

I know for a fact most of us waste more then 1 hour a day, and each time we waste our time I believe we push our dreams away that much further. Think about it, for every hour you waste maybe your dream is one hour further from you accomplishing it! Think about that for a moment...

We have 4 months left in this year and instead of wasting an hour a day lets make a decision to be more productive towards reaching our goals. Lets be 1 hour more productive a day, and maybe your dreams and goals will be 1 hour closer to accomplishing them!

Get out your old New Years Resolutions and see how many things you have accomplished this year. See what you could have accomplished if you just spent 1 extra hour a day on it, and then think about what you have not accomplished because you wasted that same hour.

This is not a deep concept but if you really focus on it then you would realize how profound it really is.

Well I hope I have done my part to make you think Today, because I am definitely guilty of this too! So lets use these last four months of the year to catch up on our goals, and put 1 hour extra a day in making our Dreams a reality!
